    NEW YORK — Hair care brand Sally Hershberger is launching at CVS stores in September two new kits to help beauty mavens go glam this holiday season.

    Hitting CVS locations nationwide are the Instant Volume kit and the Glam Waves kit. The kits are priced at $19.99 each. The Instant Volume kit includes Sally Hershberger’s Plump Up Collagen Thickening Mist, Supreme Lift Root Spray and three Go Big rollers. The Glam Waves kit includes Sally Hershberger’s Glam Waves Texture Spray, Glam Waves Style Shaper and four Glam Waves clips.

  • Blu Cigs arrive at H-E-B, Meijer

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An e-cigarette brand announced that its disposable e-cigarettes now are available at H-E-B and Meijer stores.

    The company said that this marks Blu Cigs' transition from online sales to retail by being sold in all of H-E-B's 329 stores across Texas and Mexico, as well as Meijer's 196 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Each disposable e-cigarette equals about 20 to 30 traditional cigarettes, the company said.

  • BioElectronics signs Greenwood Group to manage retail products

    FREDERICK, Md. — BioElectronics, maker of the topical drug-free pain relievers ActiPatch and Allay on Tuesday announced it has signed with the Greenwood Group to manage the company’s retail products portfolio.

    “Greenwood Group management has a substantial history building successful brands, through international and domestic selling efforts, as well as developing and implementing marketing strategies,” BioElectronics stated in its release.

    NEW YORK — Bainbridge and Knight has entered the organic hair and beauty cosmetics realm.

    The company said that its Zinn Beauty Collection is a line of natural beauty products that is made with 100% argan oil. The lineup includes Zinn velvet facial cleansing milk, Zinn revitalizing anti-aging cream, Zinn smooth body milk and Zinn 100% Moroccan argan oil. The products will retail from $24.99 to $29.99.

    CHICAGO — Iced tea brand AriZona has updated its packaging mix to include 12-packs of its 11.5-oz. cans.

    The company said its ready-to-drink beverages will feature packaging by Rexam to help the company further expand into the mass market.
