  • Passage Foods, Beth Hillson enter recipe partnership

    COLLINSVILLE, Conn. — A maker of international cooking sauces has teamed up with the founder of the Gluten-Free Pantry brand to develop a range of recipes for those seeking gluten-free meal solutions.

    Passage Foods said its partnership with Beth Hillson, who was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1976 and also serves as president of the American Celiac Disease Alliance and recently penned "Gluten-Free Makeovers," will help cater to time-starved consumers who want home cooked meals that are nutritious, healthy and gluten free.

  • M&M's adds new character

    HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Move over, Ms. Green. There's another leading lady coming to the M&M's clan.

    M&M's announced that its spokescandies, including Red, Yellow, Orange, Green and Blue, will be joined by Ms. Brown, who will debut in an ad premiering during Super Bowl XLVI. M&M's also is giving people a taste of Ms. Brown on Jan. 30 by unveiling the first images of the new character during special events in Los Angeles and New York, as well on Facebook.

  • Sheila G Brands' Brownie Brittle line arrives at Publix

    WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Sheila G Brands' Brownie Brittle line has made its way to Publix.

    The Brownie Brittle line, which is available in chocolate chip, peanut butter chip and toffee crunch flavors, now is available at Publix stores nationwide. The line initially launched last January.

    In addition to Publix, Sheila G Brands products also are available in thousands of stores in the Northeast and Southeast United States, as well as the Caribbean, and at Paradies airport shops, and hotel gift shops across the country.

  • Chocolate-covered raisins, peanuts from Dove hitting store shelves this spring

    HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Dove is pairing its chocolate with a new bite-sized candy that combines taste and texture.

    New Dove chocolate-covered raisins and peanuts is the latest "hand to mouth" candy from the brand, which will debut on store shelves this spring for a suggested retail price of $3.49 for a 5-oz. bag.

    The launch will be supported by a creative, multifaceted marketing campaign, including print, broadcast, online/social media, consumer promotions, in-store and shopper marketing.

  • Kodak accuses Fujifilm of patent infringement

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After announcing patent infringement suits against Apple and HTC related to its digital imaging technology, Kodak also announced it filed a similar lawsuit against Fujifilm.

    Kodak said the complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and was related to U.S. Patent Nos. 5,493,335; 6,292,218; 6,573,927; 6,441,854; and 5,164,831.

  • Zak introduces Toddler Go cups

    SPOKANE, Wash. — Zak Designs has created drinkware items for on-the-go toddlers that feature a valve that controls liquid flow.

    Zak said its Toddler Go cups feature the patent-pending FloControl valve, designed to cater to children as they age and require a more flowing drinking spout. Additionally, the cups are spill proof, dishwasher safe and BPA free.

    Toddler Go cups will be available in Disney designs, including "Cars" and "Disney Princesses."

  • New clocks feature four-legged friends, Christmas carols

    TOLEDO, Ohio — Mark Feldstein and Associates has introduced a new line of holiday clocks that feature images captured by animal photographer Keith Kimberlin.

    The Keith Kimberlin puppy and kitty Christmas carol clocks are 8-in. clock dials that feature puppy and kitten images and 12 traditional carols, one played at the top of each hour.

  • Jelly Belly chocolate-covered candies 'dips' into new flavor

    FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Jelly Belly is expanding its Chocolate Dips line to include a new sweet flavor.

    The company said its strawberry flavor will be available in a 2.8-oz. bag, building on the brand's line of convenient smaller bag sizes.

    The family of Jelly Bean Chocolate Dips includes coconut, mint, orange, raspberry and Very Cherry flavors.
