    SILVER SPRING, Md. — The second season of "Extreme Couponing" debuted on TLC Wednesday evening, and with the new season came a renewed concern as to how extreme couponers will impact value promotions at retail.

    That may be one of the more significant concerns for retailers, according to a Bloomberg report published Wednesday — that promotions are attracting one-time buyers who cherry-pick their way through the weekly shopping trip in place of loyal consumers.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. — Perry's Ice Cream has relaunched an ice cream flavor that commemorates a National Football League team.

    The Buffalo Bills Brownie Blitz ice cream, which is the official ice cream of the NFL team Buffalo Bills, originally was introduced in 2008. This year, the ice cream is getting a makeover to reflect the Bills new helmet design. The Buffalo Bills Brownie Blitz features premium French vanilla ice cream with laces of fudge and brownie pieces, Perry's Ice Cream said.

    VEVEY, Switzerland — Nestlé EVP and CFO Jim Singh will retire in March 2012 after 35 years with the company.
