  • Charmin breaks Guinness World Record

    CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble's Charmin brand broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest toilet roll.

    Charmin said on Friday, which marks National Toilet Paper Day, that the roll measures more than 8 ft. high and a diameter for more than 9 ft. wide and is made entirely of Charmin toilet tissue. The roll was created at P&G's Paper Products company, located outside of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and transported to P&G's headquarters in Cincinnati for the unveiling.

  • Hill's Science Diet introduces cat food that curbs feline aging

    TOPEKA, Kan. — A new line of cat food designed to slow feline aging has hit the market.

    New Hill's Science Diet senior 11+ age defying small kibble is easy to chew and digest, increasing lean muscle mass typically lost by older cats, the company said. The new cat food also supports healthy cognitive function and a radiant coat with fish oil and omega fatty acids.

    Hill's Science Diet products are available at retailers nationwide, including Petco, PetSmart and more.

  • Wegmans donates almost 14,000 lbs. of nonperishables to Maryland community

    EDGEWOOD, Md. — Wegmans delivered 13,848 lbs. of nonperishable food to Harford Community Action Agency here, the company announced Friday. The donation included 20 pallets of condiments, baking, breakfast, pasta, cereal and crackers.

    DALLAS — Cottonelle has introduced a new, fun way to disguise toilet paper.

    The brand's toilet paper roll covers are available in three fashion-forward designs that were inspired by the latest trends, Cottonelle said. Cottonelle first introduced the covers earlier this month online at RespectTheRoll.com, which aimed to change people's point of view on toilet paper.

The facility joins the recently announced global innovation center in Seoul, Korea, along with North American facilities in Neenah, Wis., and Roswell, Ga.
