  • Aunt Jemima brings oatmeal pancakes to breakfast table

    MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J. — Pinnacle Foods has added a new frozen breakfast option to the Aunt Jemima brand.

    New Aunt Jemima oatmeal pancakes are made with rolled oats, oat bran and oat flour mixed right into the batter and tout 4g of fiber per serving, Pinnacle Foods said.

    The Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast line includes such products as frozen waffles, French toast and more.

  • Odwalla introduces Super Protein Mango smoothie

    HALF MOON BAY, Calif. — Odwalla has introduced a new smoothie to its protein beverages line.

    New Super Protein Mango smoothie contains 20 g of soy protein, provides 50% of the daily value of calcium and 150% of the daily value of vitamins B12 and B6, Odwalla said. Each smoothie is packaged in a 12-oz. PlantBottle. The company rolled out its PlantBottle packaging in April.

    HOUSTON — The maker of relaxation beverage Drank has tapped NPG PR to handle public relations for the product.

    With this new agreement, Innovative Beverage Group Holdings said NPG PR, a full-service public relations boutique based in Nashville, will handle all media relations, social media, event planning and branding for Drank.

  • Goya celebrates milestone with concert sponsorship, food donation

    SECAUCUS, N.J. — Goya is celebrating its 75th anniversary by sponsoring a six-city concert series and will donate 75,000 lbs. of food to local charities.

    The charities will be selected by the concert performers, including Marc Anthony, Ana Gabriel and Marco Antonio Solis, Goya said. The donation is part of the Goya Gives campaign, a series of initiatives developed to celebrate Goya's anniversary in partnership with United Way.
