  • IRI, Experian establish better marketing ROI through partnership

    CHICAGO — IRI on Monday partnered with Experian on a initiative designed to drive a better return on advertising spend for marketers and improve shopping experiences.

    The joint effort enables marketers to leverage IRI ProScores, an audience targeting solution built from household purchase data. As part of the agreement, Experian’s clients will have direct access to IRI ProScores.

    NEW YORK — Topps’ Bazooka Candy Brands division is introducing a new way to chew gum with its Juicy Drop Gum. The product lets consumers determine the flavor intensity of their gum and extend its flavor by adding sour gel to each piece. 
     
  • Slew of healthcare companies named tops for executive women

    NEW YORK — A host of drug store industry-related companies were named to the 2017 National Association for Female Executives Top Companies for Executive Women. In alphabetical order, these companies, among the 60 named to the list, include Abbott Labs, Cardinal Health, Colgate Palmolive, Eli Lilly, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg, L’Orèal, Merck, Procter & Gamble, Roche, Target and Walmart.

  • Annie Chun’s refreshes brand, expands offerings

    ANAHEIM, Calif. — Pan-Asian snack and meal company Annie Chun’s has unveiled a new look for its brand, as well as new products ahead of Natural Products Expo West, which will be held from March 10-12. 
     
    The company is rolling out its Asian Entrees, as well as sea salt and sea salt and vinegar varieties of its Organic Seaweed Snacks. 
     
  • Redd’s Wicked launches strawberry-kiwi flavor

    CHICAGO — MillerCoors’ hard cider brand Redd’s Wicked on Tuesday announced the return of its limited-release series, kicking it off with the introduction of Redd’s Wicked Strawberry Kiwi. The flavor hit shelves March 1. 
     
  • Ritz intros Crisp and Thins baked chip

    EAST HANOVER, N.J. — Ritz is unveiling its new Ritz Crisp and Thins in four flavors, the brand announced Monday. Ritz Crisp and Thins are available in sea salt, cream cheese and onion, salt and vinegar and bacon. 
     
    The product, which saw success in the United Kingdom, is aimed at responding to consumer demand for better-for-you chip options that don’t sacrifice flavor, the company said.
     
  • Pepsi’s 1893 intros citrus, black currant flavors

    PURCHASE, N.Y. — Pepsi’s 1893 cola brand is expanding its offerings, the company announced Wednesday with the unveiling of its Citrus Cola and Black Currant Cola flavors.
