    AMSTERDAM, N.Y. — Beech-Nut has rolled out a new line of baby foods it has co-branded with Green Giant.

    Each product is made with natural ingredients that will please parents and children alike.

    As a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, Kimberly-Clark will further improve its sustainable efforts by collaborating with other leading organizations that are focused on a responsible future, the company said.

    CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble on Tuesday afternoon named a healthcare veteran to its board. Susan Desmond-Hellmann, 53, chancellor of the University of California, San Francisco, was named to the board, effective Dec. 13.

  • Kraft's Huddle to Fight Hunger hopes to score touchdown

    NORTHFIELD, Ill. — Kraft Foods is continuing its commitment to the fight against hunger with its football-themed hunger-relief initiative.

    Kraft said Monday that the Huddle to Fight Hunger program reached 18.5 million meals, which is 93% of the program's goal. Its initiative encourages Americans to generate meal donations for Feeding America through several social media initiatives, including Facebook and Twitter.

    The promotions lead up to the first-ever Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl on Jan. 9, which will be held in San Francisco.

    GLENDALE, Calif., and AMSTERDAM, N.Y. — Beech-Nut and Disney Consumer Products have teamed up to unite nutritious foods with characters that toddlers love.

    Beech-Nut's new line of products feature Winnie the Pooh characters, including the namesake bear and his pals Piglet and Tigger.

    The Beech-Nut toddler food is fortified with vitamins and minerals and contains valuable nutrients, fiber, whole grains, real fruit, real yogurt, real vegetables and protein. The line features meals, sides, snacks and juices including:

    PLANO, Texas — Two members of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group executive leadership team have been promoted to the level of EVP, the company announced.

    Effective Jan. 1, 2011, David Thomas is EVP research and development, and Tina Barry becomes EVP corporate affairs. Both continue to report directly to Larry Young, DPS president and CEO.
