    IOWA CITY, Iowa — Direct and indirect remuneration fees and delayed maximum allowable cost adjustment ranked highest on scales of both magnitude and immediacy for rural pharmacists, according to new research released by the RUPRI Center for Rural Health Policy Analysis.

    NEW YORK — AmerisourceBergen, AbbVie and Cardinal Health earned perfect scores in the Barron’s 500 list, an exclusive ranking of the 500 largest publicly traded companies, measured by reported in sales in the latest fiscal year and whose primary stock is listed in the United States or Canada. AmerisourceBergen, AbbVie and both earned perfect “grade point averages” of 4.0, based their stocks’ return on investment and sales growth.

  • CVS Health to host Baseball Camp for Veterans on May 25

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Health will kick off Memorial Day celebrations on May 25 with a special event when it hosts a group of military veterans from across New England at Fenway Park. The seventh-annual CVS Health Baseball Camp for Veterans is a full-day event, including on-field batting practice with Red Sox Hitting Coaches Chili Davis and Victor Rodriguez, a VIP tour of Fenway Park and tickets to the night’s game.

    The event is part of CVS Health’s commitment to America’s military heroes and veterans of all abilities.

    Artificial eyelashes are an important accessory for many celebrities. Among those accenting their eyes with a little help from lashes is Naomi Watts. According to her makeup artist Mary Wiles, Watts has worn Ardell Double Flare Lashes.

    Celebrities aren’t alone when it comes to donning fakes. Sales of artificial eyelashes packaged with adhesives rose 31% to $157 million, according to IRI data for multi-outlet retailers for the 52-week period ended March 19. Eyelash adhesives kicked in another $30 million and showed growth of 24%.

IRI tracked double-digit increases in the category over the past year.

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Health’s Charity Classic announced its lineup of pro golf stars for its upcoming June 19 Charity Classic, including six PGA Tour champions: Billy Andrade, Brad Faxon, Jay Haas, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie and Mark O’Meara. Joining them will be PGA Tour members Keegan Bradley, Jon Curran, Tony Finau, Bill Haas, Billy Horschel and Smylie Kaufman, as well as LPGA Tour members Paula Creamer, Brooke Henderson, Cristie Kerr, Gerina Piller, Morgan Pressel and Lexi Thompson.
