  • Zak introduces Toddler Go cups

    SPOKANE, Wash. — Zak Designs has created drinkware items for on-the-go toddlers that feature a valve that controls liquid flow.

    Zak said its Toddler Go cups feature the patent-pending FloControl valve, designed to cater to children as they age and require a more flowing drinking spout. Additionally, the cups are spill proof, dishwasher safe and BPA free.

    Toddler Go cups will be available in Disney designs, including "Cars" and "Disney Princesses."

  • Kodak accuses Fujifilm of patent infringement

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After announcing patent infringement suits against Apple and HTC related to its digital imaging technology, Kodak also announced it filed a similar lawsuit against Fujifilm.

    Kodak said the complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and was related to U.S. Patent Nos. 5,493,335; 6,292,218; 6,573,927; 6,441,854; and 5,164,831.

  • New clocks feature four-legged friends, Christmas carols

    TOLEDO, Ohio — Mark Feldstein and Associates has introduced a new line of holiday clocks that feature images captured by animal photographer Keith Kimberlin.

    The Keith Kimberlin puppy and kitty Christmas carol clocks are 8-in. clock dials that feature puppy and kitten images and 12 traditional carols, one played at the top of each hour.

  • U.S. Nonwovens seeks to market Dual Pod technology

    BRENTWOOD, N.Y. — U.S. Nonwovens is looking to market its Dual Pod technology for consumer packaged goods companies that operate or are looking to operate in the cleaning/laundry category.

    The company said it is in "high-level discussions" with global CPG companies in efforts to license and/or sell USN's newly granted patents. Procter & Gamble is the is the only other company aside from USN to market such technology, particularly in its Tide and Cascade brands, the company noted.

  • Leah Sarago introduces Ballet Body DVD series

    LOS ANGELES — A new series of fitness DVDs that promotes long and lean muscle development has made its debut.

    Ballet Body Signature Series, developed by fitness expert Leah Sarago, is a three-part DVD series focuses on the lower body, upper body and core, while incorporating Sarago's elongation technique that combines dance, ballet, Pilates and yoga-inspired exercises. The technique challenges the body through isometrics, stretch-contract reflex and eccentric contractions to create the elongation in the muscles.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After announcing that it has set its sights on transforming into a digital company, Kodak has filed patent infringement suits against Apple and HTC in an effort to protect some of its patents relating to digital imaging technology.
