  • Consumers encouraged to use Brillo, Estracell products during National Cleaning Week

    WALLED LAKE, Mich. — Brillo, the only brand of household cleaning products to feature Estracell, is emphasizing the use of its products during National Cleaning Week.

    Last year, Brillo and Estracell united to offer consumers more effective household cleaning solutions. Estracell's material helps create a more sanitary line of sponge products and offers a range of simple yet effective cleaning solutions to pick up dirt and rinse it away, according to Armaly Brands, the maker of Brillo and Estracell.

  • Report: Lady Gaga ends deal with Target

    MINNEAPOLIS — Pop singer Lady Gaga has dissolved her partnership with mass merchandiser Target, according to published reports.

    Last month, Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, teamed up with Target to promote her latest album, “Born This Way,” selling an exclusive special edition of it through the retailer.

  • P&G shuffles executives

    CINCINNATI — Shortly after the announcement that the president of its global hair care business was leaving for a chief executive role at Sephora, Procter & Gamble announced additional organizational changes.

    R. Keith Harrison, P&G's global product supply officer, will retire Sept. 1, after more than 41 years of service. Harrison will serve as officer on special assignment, reporting to Bob McDonald, chairman, president and CEO.

  • 'Wubbzy to the Rescue' coming to DVD

    BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Anchor Bay Entertainment has released its latest "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy" DVD title.

    "Wubbzy to the Rescue" features a collection of six episodes filled with age-appropriate lessons about sharing, caring and being yourself.

    The DVD is slated for release on May 3 for a suggested retail price of $16.98, and will be available at retailers nationwide.

    CHICAGO — Consumers are just as interested in utilizing green services as they are in purchasing green products, according to new Mintel research.

  • Replenish arriving at select Whole Foods locations

    CHICAGO — An ultra-concentrated, multisurface cleaner in a reusable bottle system is being rolled out at select Whole Foods stores.

    Replenish said its all-in-one bottle will be available next month in 33 of Whole Foods' stores in the Midwest. The system, the company said, allows consumers to measure, mix with water, store and spray powerful cleaners using replaceable concentrate pods, instead of buying premixed cleaners.

    Replenish is available in three scents: fresh lavender, sun lemon and green tea.
