  • Spring is in the air with new Glade collection

    RACINE, Wis. — Consumers with spring fever will be able to freshen their homes with two limited-edition home fragrances from Glade.

    Bring on the Blossoms and Sparkle of Spring scents are the newest members of the Glade family. Bring on the Blossoms unites fruity and floral with a medley of jasmine, rose, peony and sandalwood; while the Sparkle of Spring scent features fresh and citrusy scents with zesty lime, ginger and vanilla notes, according to the company.

  • 'Casino Jack' arrives on Blu-ray, DVD this spring

    LOS ANGELES — The story of one of Washington, D.C.'s most lucrative lobbyists caught in a whirlwind of controversy is making its Blu-ray and DVD debut April 5.

    "Casino Jack," starring Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey as Jack Abramoff, is a cautionary tale about Capitol Hill intrigue. Abramoff is situated as a power player whose scheming ways land him in a web of greed and murder that turns into a worldwide scandal.

  • Mr. Clean with Febreze rolls out New Zealand Springs, Hawaiian Aloha scents

    CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble has introduced two new products that unite the cleaning power of Mr. Clean and the fresh scent of Febreze.

    New Zealand Springs and Hawaiian Aloha scents have joined the Mr. Clean with Febreze lineup. Available in pourable liquids and sprays, each product is designed to freshen and clean virtually all hard surface areas of the home, P&G said.

  • Mill Creek Entertainment brings war documentaries to DVD

    MINNEAPOLIS — Mill Creek Entertainment is releasing historical documentary compilations about war on DVD March 22.

    The lineup includes "The Last Voices of WWI," a two-disc DVD collection; the single-disc DVD of "The Revolutionary War: Heroes and Battles"; the 12-disc "America's Wars" documentary; and the 11-disc "WWII: The War that Changed the World," which will make their way to retail.

    The DVDs range in prices from $9.98 to $29.98.

  • Mill Creek Entertainment announces DVD releases of three TV shows

    MINNEAPOLIS — Mill Creek Entertainment is bringing three TV series to DVD next month.

    On March 22, the company said it will release a single-disc DVD of "The Bill Cosby Show" Best of Season One, Cosby's Emmy-nominated first situation comedy, for a suggested retail price of $9.98.

    Also coming to DVD is "Marcus Welby M.D." Best of Season One, the story of a committed family physician, which will feature 10 episodes on two discs for $9.98.

  • Hallmark's brand campaign celebrates everyday life

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hallmark wants customers to celebrate life's everyday, unexpected moments through a new tagline and year-round campaign.

    The greeting card company's "Life is a Special Occasion" campaign will communicate and engage with consumers year-round. Hallmark said that its recent product innovations, including recordable storybooks, personalized greetings, personalized plates and interactive story buddies, help customers capture those moments that often pass by.

  • P&G, Reckitt Benckiser among 2011 Product of the Year USA award recipients

    NEW YORK — The world's largest consumer-voted program that recognizes innovation in consumer packaged goods announced this year's award-winning brands.

    At the third annual 2011 Product of the Year USA awards ceremony, Product of the Year unveiled the most innovative products of the year, voted by more than 60,000 American shoppers in a survey conducted by TNS, a custom research agency.
