    LENOIR, N.C. — Greer Labs, a developer and provider of allergy immunotherapy products and services, announced that the Food and Drug Administration has approved Oralair (Sweet Vernal, Orchard, Perennial Rye, Timothy and Kentucky Blue Grass mixed pollens allergen extract) sublingual allergy immunotherapy tablet.

  • Supervalu now features Stayhealthy HealthCENTER Kiosks

    MONROVIA, Calif. — Stayhealthy on Wednesday announced the completion of its deployment of Stayhealthy HealthCENTER Kiosks in six states throughout the Supervalu chain of supermarkets and pharmacies. Supervalu, which operates Cub, Farm Fresh, Shoppers and Shop ‘n Save, is now home to Stayhealthy’s FDA-cleared, self-monitoring HealthCENTERs that provide clinical-grade health screenings free of charge, the company stated. 

  • Sandoz introduces generic version of Leo Pharma’s Taclonex Ointment

    PRINCETON, N.J. — Sandoz on Tuesday announced the U.S. market introduction of its calcipotriene and betamethasone dipropionate ointment, the first generic version of Leo Pharma’s Taclonex Ointment.

    Calcipotriene and betamethasone dipropionate ointment is a vitamin D analogue and corticosteroid combination product indicated for the topical treatment of psoriasis vulgaris in adults 18 years and older.

    Psoriasis affects approximately 2% of the U.S. population. Plaque psoriasis is the most common form of the condition. 

  • Amp Energy, Dale Earnhardt Jr. debut new flavor

    PURCHASE, N.Y. — Amp Energy, an energy drink from PepsiCo, announced a partnership with racing star Dale Earnhardt Jr. to produce a new sour grape flavor. The beverage, called Dale Jr. Sour, will be available for a limited time at select 7-Eleven stores across the country starting April 2.

  • Tide preps for spring cleaning with latest addition

    CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble is introducing new Tide Oxi Multi-Purpose Stain Remover. The cleaner will hit shelves just in time for the annual spring cleaning tradition and will give consumers the ability to clean both in and out of the laundry room, the company said.

    Tide Oxi can be used to clean everything from carpet and upholstery to bathtubs and patio furniture. Consumers also can use it as an additive to laundry detergent as an added stain fighter.   

  • New children's daily use hair care line focuses on lice prevention

    EAST MEADOW, N.Y. — Innovative Products has announced the launch of Gotcha Covered, a line of children’s daily use hair care products for head lice prevention.

    Gotcha Covered offers a shampoo, conditioner, styling gel and leave-in detangler, as well as a surface spray, that parents can use on their children’s scalp and items they frequently touch and share before they ever get head lice.

  • Prasco to market authorized generic form of Evista

    CINCINNATI — Prasco Labs on Tuesday announced that it has signed a marketing and distribution agreement with Eli Lilly and Co. to market the authorized generic version of Evista (raloxifene hydrochloride tablets), 60 mg strength, in the United States.
