  • New line of clay-based beauty products to hit market this summer

    NEW YORK — Pharmaclay Delivery Systems has announced that it will introduce Clayspray, a line of clay-based beauty products targeting the face and body, to the U.S. market this summer.  

    The collection will launch at three international beauty events: Premiere Orlando on June 1 to 3 in Orlando; The International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference on June 22 to 24 in Las Vegas; and Cosmoprof North America on July 14 to 16 in Las Vegas.


  • Kerr Drug introduces Simplify My Meds synchronized-prescription program

    RALEIGH, N.C. — Kerr Drug has introduced a new prescription-synchronization service, the retail pharmacy chain said Monday.

    Kerr, a regional chain based in Raleigh, N.C., announced the introduction of the new Simplify My Meds synchronized prescription refill service. The service uses the chain's new central-fill center in Kerr, and the company said it hoped the program would solidify customer loyalty by increasing convenience.

  • Ocean Spray introduces Cran-Lemonade flavor and summer vacation promotion

    LAKEVILLE-MIDDLEBORO, Mass. — Ocean Spray announced today a new lemonade flavor juice drink coinciding with a company promotion partnered with JetBlue Airways for consumers to receive a summer getaway.

    Ocean Spray is launching Cran-Lemonade juice drinks in original and diet varieties. The diet drink has just five calories. The new flavor combines sun-ripened cranberries and sweet lemons, and delivers 100% of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C in each serving.

  • New vitamin-based anti-aging serum hits market

    BOISE, Idaho — Epionce has announced the launch of Intense Defense Anti-Aging + Repair Serum, which it is positioning as the first complete multivitamin for the skin.

  • Mylan launches cholesterol drug

    PITTSBURGH — Mylan has launched a generic drug for treating cholesterol, the company said Friday.

    Mylan announced the launch of fenofibrate tablets in the 48 mg and 145 mg strengths. The drug is used to reduce so-called "bad" low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides and apolipoprotein B while increasing "good" high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in adults with primary hyperocholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia.
