  • Natural Products Solutions expands men's health supplement line with VirMax T

    TIMONIUM, Md. — Natural Products Solutions recently announced the launch of VirMax T testosterone booster as the newest addition to the VirMax line of supplements. VirMax T made its official debut in early October at the 2012 National Association of Convenience Stores in Las Vegas and it currently is available in Circle K stores nationwide and on Walgreens' Drugstore.com site.

  • SoloHealth Stations to roll out in Sam's Club locations nationwide

    ATLANTA — Sam's Club has become the first warehouse club retailer to install SoloHealth's comprehensive health-and-wellness screening kiosks, SoloHealth announced Wednesday.

    SoloHealth said it will begin the rollout of its SoloHealth Station to more than 500 Sam's Club locations nationwide. The kiosks, currently available in select U.S. retail locations, is expected to be in more than 2,500 retail locations by mid-2013.

  • Paris Business Products expands Dotz brand

    WESTAMPTON, N.J. — A line of cord and cable management products is expanding to include a new item.

    New Dotz reusable cord straps are designed to bundle together cords without having to use permanent ties. Each Dotz reusable cord strap features a built-in lock to keep bundles secure. The straps allow users to organize and uniquely identify cords by location and length.

    Available in packs of five, new Dotz reusable cord straps carry a suggested retail price of $3.99.

  • Astellas applies for FDA approval of organ transplant drug

    NORTHBROOK, Ill. — The U.S. subsidiary of Japanese drug maker Astellas is seeking approval from the Food and Drug Administration for a drug to prevent rejection of transplanted organs.

    Astellas Pharma US said it applied with the FDA for approval of tacrolimus extended-release capsules to prevent rejection of transplanted kidneys in adults and transplanted livers in men. The drug was approved in Europe in 2007 under the name Advagraf and under the name Graceptor in Japan in 2008; the drug has been approved in 69 countries so far.

    MADISON, Wis. — Consumer products company Spectrum Brands Holdings announced on Wednesday that its Remington personal care division has entered the U.S. women’s hair accessories market with a full line of basic-to-trend hair accessories, accessory storage items and brushes for both adults and teenage girls.

    The new line includes such items as hair elastics that also can be worn as jewelry (pictured) and hair clips.
