Publix opened registration for the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to eligible individuals at 23 of its pharmacies in Tennessee.

Publix has donated $125,000 to the Arbor Day Foundation, which will plant 125,000 trees in two damaged Florida watersheds — Withlacoochee River Watershed and Little Orange Creek Preserve.

Publix announced that its pharmacies in Florida will now offer COVID-19 scheduling opportunities to those who are 40 years old and older.

Publix will be administering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to eligible individuals at 21 Georgia and 23 Tennessee pharmacy locations.

Publix shared that it has administered its 1 millionth dose of the COVID‑19 vaccine in Florida.

Eligible patients were able to schedule COVID-19 vaccines via the retailer’s online reservation system beginning March 16.

Publix’s pharmacies allow individuals age 60 years old and older to register for the vaccine, but priority must be given to K-12 and childcare teachers and personnel for locations participating in the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.

Publix will be administering COVID-19 vaccines at 148 of its Georgia pharmacy locations and offering vaccinations in Florida to those who qualify in the state’s expanded eligibility criteria.
