    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - As Arizona public health officials work to stop the spread of a measles outbreak, CVS Health is offering measles-mumps-rubella vaccine at more than 140 locations to people living in Maricopa and Pinal Counties, the areas exposed to confirmed cases of the illness, the company announced Friday.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Little Clinic last week named Marc Watkins chief medical officer. Watkins formerly served as VP and medical director for the company.

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — MinuteClinic on Thursday announced the introduction of its new digital tool that allows patients to see wait times at most locations and hold a place in line using their smartphone, computer or tablet. 
     
    The service has launched for all MinuteClinics inside CVS Pharmacy Locations and Long Drugs in Hawaii, and the company plans to roll it out to Target-based clinics later this year.

  • MinuteClinic, Palo Alto VA system team to increase health care access for veterans

    WOONSOCKET, R. I. — CVS Health’s MinuteClinic on Tuesday announced a new initiative that it will be undertaking with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System in an effort to expand veterans’ access to high-quality and convenient health care in northern California. As a result of the initiative, the 60,000 veterans enrolled in health system can be referred to MinuteClinic for acute health services.
