    TORONTO – To mark Pharmacist Awareness Month, Rexall is launching its third annual #MyRexallPharmacist campaign. Beginning March 1 through to March 31, Canadians are invited to share a positive experience with their Rexall pharmacist on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #MyRexallPharamacist or by visiting myrexallpharmacist.ca.

    By sharing their story, Canadians will have a chance to win a daily $100 Rexall gift card and the Grand Prize of 5,000 AIR MILES Reward Miles.

  • HappyOrNot data finds high pharmacy satisfaction

    WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Instant customer and employee satisfaction reporting company HappyOrNot has taken a look at how 5.2 million patients rate their pharmacies. Using its HappyOrNot feedback terminals — which allow users to choose from four smiley faces that reflect their experience — HappyOrNot has found a 94.6% satisfaction rate among its 136 pharmacies worldwide.

  • Target’s bottom line impacted by sale of pharmacy business

    MINNEAPOLIS — Target’s sale of its pharmacy and clinic business to CVS Health, along with a 1.5% comparable store sales decrease led fourth-quarter sales to decline 4.3% year over year to $20.7 billion.

    However, the pharmacy sale did provide a boost to its selling, general and administrative expense rate, which dropped to 17.5% in its 2016 fourth quarter, compared to 18.1% in the same time period in 2015.

    Overall, Target reported Q4 adjusted earnings per share of $1.45 per share, down 4.6% versus 2015, falling short of Wall Street analyst estimates.

  • Walmart enhances pharmacy customer experience

    BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart has taken steps to greatly enhance the experience of its pharmacy customers, providing easy refills and an ability to “skip the line.”

    Regarding easy refills, after a one-time setup, customers can quickly refill prescriptions, track order status and view pricing and pickup details via the Walmart app.

    Once their order has been placed, customers can use new express lanes for easy pickup. Completing the transaction then requires three steps:
