  • The Little Clinic introduces 'We'll Hold Your Spot'

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Little Clinic, introduced “We’ll Hold Your Spot,” an online tool that allows consumers to reserve a spot in line before they get to a clinic.

    The wholly-owned subsidiary of Kroger launched this service at 215 of its clinics located inside select Kroger, Dillons, Fry’s, Jay C and King Soopers in 10 states.

    BOSTON — CVS Health presented a $50,000 Community Grant to Family Reach, which will fund the Family Relief Direct Assistance Program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to provide financial support and education to families who have a child or young adult in active cancer treatment and experiencing financial hardship.

  • DIR legislation introduced in the House of Representatives

    ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The National Community Pharmacists Association on Wednesday endorsed bipartisan legislation introduced by Reps. Morgan Griffith, R-Va., and Peter Welch, D-Vt., that prohibits pharmacy direct and indirect remuneration fees from being applied after the point-of-sale for prescription drugs dispensed to Medicare beneficiaries.

  • Rite Aid expands naloxone non-prescription availability in six states

    CAMP HILL, Pa. — Rite Aid announced Wednesday that naloxone, a medication that can be used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, is now available at more than 630 pharmacies in Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia and West Virginia without a prescription, subject to state regulations.
