    NEW YORK — With creative cocktails and free manicures, Coty executives and beauty influencers celebrated the launch of Sally Hansen Color Therapy at Manhattan’s Kimpton Eventi Hotel, Wednesday night, alongside Sally Hansen global color ambassador and nail artist Madeline Poole, who helped develop the line of 38 colors that care for the nail while being worn.
     
  • DSN reader polls show narrow preference for Trump

    As Election Day draws near, it looks like a slim majority of Drug Store News readers would prefer to see Donald Trump in the White House, according to our most recent online reader poll. Though the candidates are separated by fewer than 100 votes, at press time, 51% of readers (1163 votes) said they would vote Trump if the election were tomorrow, whereas 49% (1101 votes) said Hillary Clinton was their pick. 
     
  • Rite Aid, Folds of Honor celebrate DreamShip’s inaugural launch

    JERSEY CITY, N.J. — With the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade Center and Ellis Island as a backdrop, nonprofit Folds of Honor inaugurated its DreamShip — a full-size hot air balloon — at Liberty State Park Thursday, kicking off a yearlong, awareness-raising nationwide tour for the balloon, with Rite Aid executives and associates, Folds of Honor founder Maj. Dan Rooney, New Jersey Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, scholarship recipients and other sponsors in attendance. 
     
  • Project Health brings screenings, education to CVS Health in suburban Philadelphia

    LANSDOWNE, Pa. — CVS Health earlier this month announced the 11th year of its Project Health initiative, which provides a series of free screenings to patients in those communities where complementary health services and the corresponding education consultations can have a significant impact on people.

    This year, CVS Health expects to provide hundreds of thousands of free biometric screenings, including blood pressure, blood glucose and total cholesterol, across 10 multicultural markets.
