PAYSON, Utah — Two regional grocers beat all the competition in and out of their category in a survey of customer experiences across 20 different industries.

NEW YORK — This year seven participants from across the country worked hard to stink up their shoes for a chance to win the national title at the Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest held at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Times Square. The regional winners admitted to wearing no socks, stepping in slop of all sources and even claimed it was just their “sweet girly essence,” but only one pair of sneakers out-stunk them all and they belonged to 12-year old, Connor, from Eagle River, Alaska.

NEW YORK — People magazine named Genentech, Wegmans and Publix to its inaugural “50 Companies That Care” list, which recognizes companies with 1,000 or more employees that demonstrate respect, compassion and concern for their employees, their communities and the environment.

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. — Nice-Pak on Tuesday announced its recognition as the Private Brand Supplier of the Year by Walmart, one of the company's largest customers. Walmart's Private Brand Supplier of the Year Award is new for Walmart in FYE 2017 and was awarded to Nice-Pak as a result of their overall collaboration with product innovation, thought leadership and category insights.

PAYSON, Utah — Three very different retailers earned the top score in a survey of customer experience.

Ace Hardware, BJ's Wholesale Club, and QVC deliver the best customer experience in the retail industry, according to the 2017 Temkin Experience Ratings, an annual customer experience ranking of companies based on a survey of 10,000 U.S. consumers.

ALEXANDRIA, Va.— That National Association of Chain Drug Stores on Tuesday announced the passing of former NACDS chairman Jerry Weinberger, former CEO Gray Drug Stores. He passed away earlier in the morning, the association noted.
