    DALLAS — Toilet paper brand Cottonelle has expanded its line of toilet paper roll covers with three new designs created by interior designer Jonathan Adler.

    The three designs, which are part of Cottonelle's spring collection, feature a variety of color and patterns in an effort to change consumers' view on toilet paper.

    BILLUND, Denmark, and BURBANK, Calif. — A line of build-and-play construction sets based on the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and the upcoming film "The Hobbit" is coming to retail.

    Lego and Warner Bros. Consumer Products said it will introduce the Lego The Lord of the Rings construction sets are slated for a global launch beginning in June 2012 in the United States, with Lego The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey scheduled for release later in the year.

  • Food Lion offers MVP customers holiday recipe, tips guide

    SALISBURY, N.C. — Members of Food Lion's loyalty card program have the opportunity to receive a copy of Southern Living magazine when they spend at least $35 and purchase one Kraft Foods or ConAgra Foods product.

    MVP customers will be provided Southern Living's holiday recipe and tips guide, "Our Best Holiday Desserts," which is available through Dec. 27. The 48-page publication features both a variety of holiday-theme ideas and special Food Lion coupons.

  • Bic models new lighter series after 'Orange County Choppers'

    SHELTON, Conn. — Bic has introduced a new lighter series that features custom motorcycles from "Orange County Choppers."

    The Orange County Choppers lighters line includes 10 designs, including one that features an image of the custom-made bike produced for Bic (and themed after the BIC Flex4 men’s razor), which OCC built on-air for an episode of last season’s "American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior."

    The new lighters carry a suggested retail price of $1.79.

    LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. — Entenmann's Bakery and White Coffee have teamed up to bring a new signature collection of flavored coffees and cocoa to retail.

    The new line of Entenmann's coffee include such flavors as chocolate donut, cinnamon crumb cake, hazelnut and vanilla, which will be offered in 10-oz. bags and in gift packs. Meanwhile, Entenmann's cocoa will be available in original and mint varieties.

  • Consumers have saved more than $35 million in fuel using Winn-Dixie Fuelperks!

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Motorists have saved more than $35 million on fuel purchases since Winn-Dixie introduced its Fuelperks! program in Panama City, Fla., three years ago, Winn-Dixie announced Thursday. Since then, the program has spread to all of Florida (except the Pensacola area), and also is available in south Georgia, part of Alabama and southeast Louisiana, where Winn-Dixie has stores.
