  • Dream Water makes its way to Walgreens

    NEW YORK Dream Water once again is expanding its retail distribution.

    The beverage maker announced that less than one year after initially launching in Duane Reade stores, its 2.5-oz. Dream Water shot will be available at Walgreens locations nationwide. In addition to Walgreens, Dream Water also is available in select Walmart stores, tri-state area Kmart and Harmon stores, and New York-based GNC and Duane Reade stores.

    Dream Water is a relaxation water that helps consumers fall asleep.

  • Coming to a store near you: Strawzzles

    OXFORD, Mich. A straw that prevents juice box spills soon may be found on retail shelves nationwide.

    Strawzzles are reusable and dishwasher-safe straws that assure no spillage will take place. The one-piece straws are ideal for children of all ages on the go and those who have difficulty drinking from adult-sized cups without spilling.

  • Genius introduces new travel mouse

    MIAMI A new mouse is in town.

    Genius has launched the the Navigator 305 mouse, a computer mouse with a retractable cord and Stick-N-Go mount for easy transportation. The mouse is compatible with most operatinng systems, including Windows 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

    The mouse is available for a suggested retail price of $12.90.

  • T-ing off classics

    CINCINNATI —Paramount Licensing and Ripple Junction have teamed up on a line of new T-shirts based on the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” The collection includes five T-shirts inspired by the 1986 coming-of-age comedy that has gained cult movie status.

    The T-shirt line, which features “Save Ferris” and “Faking Out Parents” sayings, has begun shipping to retailers. Shirts retail from $17 to $20.

  • New coffee varieties available in K-Cup portions

    ORRVILLE, Ohio The company behind Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections brands announced that its coffee flavors now are available for Keurig single-cup coffee brewers.

     

    The J.M. Smucker Co. said Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available nationwide in 12- and 18-count packs ($6.99 to $9.99), online in a 24-count pack ($13.95), and at club stores in an 80-count pack ($33.99). Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Nestle recalls fun-size bags of Raisinets

    GLENDALE, Calif. Nestle USA announced its voluntary recall for one of its confections, which may contain peanuts.

    The company said its Raisinets fun-size bags (10-oz. variety) with a production code of 02015748/UPC number 2800010255 may contain peanuts. The fun-size bags with this production code were sold in Target, Shop Rite and Don Quixote retail stores, the company said.

    The company alerted the Food and Drug Administration and said no other Nestle products were impacted.

  • To yogurt, it’s all Greek

    MINNEAPOLIS —Americans have embraced Greek yogurt, and more brands of the thick, creamy yogurt are being included in dairy cases. General Mills’ Yoplait brand is one of the latest—and more affordable—entries.

    Yoplait’s Greek version is available in 6-oz. servings in four flavors: plain, honey vanilla, strawberry and blueberry. Each serving of Yoplait Greek contains 12 g of protein and 0 g of fat.

  • Panini America 'sticks' to sports with new NFL collection

    ARLINGTON, Texas Panini America is launching its first officially licensed NFL sticker album and sticker collection.

    Following the launch of its 2010 FIFA World Cup sticker collection, the company said its new football collection features NFL superstars and rookies from all 32 NFL teams, including Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Brett Favre and Tim Tebow.
