  • Four Loko intros Bartender Series flavors

    CHICAGO — Phusion Projects’ Four Loko brand is introducing its latest series of products, the Bartender Series of its flavored malt beverages. The company said the Bartender Series is aimed at delivering the taste and experience of a mixed drink in the ready-to-drink category.

    The Bartender Series — taken from drinks made by professional bartenders — currently has three flavors — Blue Mofo, Purple Hooter and Pink Scorpion, whose can designs are inspired by graffiti art.

    PENSAUKEN, N.J. — Churros are coming to the frozen food aisle. J&J Snack Foods on Tuesday announced the launch of Pillsbury Churro Bites, as part of its partnership with General Mills.

    The 8-oz. retail package of the churro bites features 20 pieces ready to heat and eat. Additionally, the company will be selling a 1-lb., 4.25-oz. club pack nationally in a leading club warehouse store.

Meanwhile, Dean Foods' DairyPure, an antibiotic-free food, soared to the top of the food and beverages list with $1.2 billion in sales, according to the report released last week.
