    SinfulColors is expanding to color cosmetics with a new 18-piece face and eye collection that can be previewed exclusively on Amazon on Nov.16. The New York-based beauty company also named actress and singer, Vanessa Hudgens as Global Color Collaborator. In this new role the "So You Think You Can Dance" judge will star in the brand’s beauty campaigns, help develop trend collections under the SinfulColors name and launch her first collection in 2018.

    Estée Lauder, the New York-based company is fully embracing technology with a new launch in collaboration with the Google Assistant on Google Home. The beauty brand has announced that beginning in December the “Estée Lauder Nighttime Expert” app will be available to offer personalized skincare solutions and beauty techniques through a voice-activated system on the device.

    TORONTO — MAC Cosmetics is leaping into the future with ModiFace. The company has announced the launch of a new Augmented Reality try-on mirror, allowing a curated set of MAC shades and looks to be tried on by a user instantly. The mirror is powered by ModiFace’s facial and 3D video makeup rendering technology, which provides a full 3D video of realistic makeup looks under any lighting condition.

  • Puff’s goes eco-friendly by earning Forest Stewardship Council certification

    CINCINNATI — Procter & Gambled owned Puffs, is doing its part to ensure customers are choosing responsibly sourced facial tissue products. The company has strengthened its commitment to responsible forestry management by earning the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. The company also has partnered with the Rainforest Alliance, and will begin using this certified labeling on all tissue products.

    TORONTO Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is partnering with beauty-focused augmented reality technology provider ModiFace. The Estée Lauder-owned brand’s new AR-powered e-commerce site will allow consumers to virtually try on some of the most popular and in-demand products. 

  • ColourPop enters Sephora in first brick-and-mortar launch

    ColourPop, known for its low prices, long-lasting formulas and exclusive availability through the company's e-commerce site, has made its brick-and-mortar launch. The company is now available in select Sephora stores nationwide and on Sephora’s website. News broke in August about the collaboration, which features eyeshadows, palettes and lipsticks for under $40.
