Flamingo revolutionizes shaving with its Moisture Plus Razor
Flamingo, the personal care brand best known for its body hair and care tools, decided to kick off the new year with a new product launch.
The new Moisture Plus Razor is a hair removal tool designed to offer users a close and comfortable shade without having to utilize any shave gel.
What sets this product apart from other Flamingo products is the activated moisture bar, activated with water, which is enriched with aloe, coconut and shea butter.
To learn more about the Moisture Plus Razor, Inside Beauty spoke with Vikki Williams Cornwall, the vice president of Flamingo.

“It’s our first razor that allows for a one-step shave, eliminating the need for separate shave gel. The razor features built-in moisture bars infused with aloe, coconut, and shea butter, which help the blades glide smoothly while providing hydration and leaving the skin feeling soft,” said Williams Cornwall.
When it came to creating the product, the executive shared that the company was inspired to create a product that makes shaving easy and convenient for its users. “Creating a 2-in-1 razor that eliminates the need for shave gel felt like a natural step—especially for those busy moments, whether you're traveling for the weekend or just short on time. We know that every woman’s routine is unique, so we’re always thinking about ways to seamlessly fit into real-life needs,” said Williams Cornwall.
Featuring four stainless blades to remove hair from the skin, the razor’s moisture bar comes with a flexible design that glides over curves and contains a no-slip grip handle to give users complete control, qualities that ensure it stands out from other products on the market.
“The Moisture Plus Razor stands out from our other offerings by focusing on the convenience of a one-step routine without compromising the high-quality experience our customers expect from Flamingo,” said Williams Cornwall.

Initially available on the Flamingo website, Amazon, Meijer and Walmart, the brand expanded the razor’s availability to additional retailers including Target, CVS Pharmacy and Kroger.
“By bringing this innovative addition to stores where consumers already shop, we’re introducing yet another new option for hair removal—ensuring that everyone has the option to choose products that work for them, whenever and wherever they need them,” said Williams Cornwall.
