  • Bausch + Lomb wins Walmart Supplier of the Year award

    LAVAL, Quebec — Valeant Pharmaceuticals announced Monday that its Bausch + Lomb brand has received a Supplier of the Year Award for U.S. manufacturing in the Consumables and Health and Wellness areas. 
     
    The award, presented at Walmart’s annual supplier summit, recognized Valeant for its current and long-term investment plans in U.S. manufacturing facilities, in particular, the facilities in Greenville, S.C., and Tampa, Fla., as well as a contact lens manufacturing facility in Rochester, N.Y.

    WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy announced Thursday that it had opened its newest location here at 700 1st St. South. The opening is the result of Benzer’s acquisition of Reliance Pharmacy and it marks the seventh new Benzer location this year.

    AUBURNDALE, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy on Wednesday announced that it had received specialty pharmacy accreditation from the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC).
