  • Chips Ahoy!, Nutter Butter cereals have made their debut

    Post Consumer Brands and Mondelēz International have announced their collaboration on the launch of two new kinds of cereal, inspired by the Chips Ahoy! and Nutter Butter cookies.

    The Post Nutter Butter cereal will feature bite-sized peanut-shaped pieces topped with a coating that will contain peanut butter. Post’s Chips Ahoy! Cereal will incorporate all the flavors of the cookie into a cereal-sized bite.

  • Unilever announces plans to acquire Schmidt’s Naturals

    Unilever has announced an agreement to acquire Schmidt’s Naturals. The Portland, Ore.-based personal care line, founded in 2010 by Jamie Schmidt, began as a deodorant line, which has expanded its offerings to include bar soap and toothpaste.

  • Dogfish Head Craft Brewery introduces low calorie option

    Milton Del.,-based Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has introduced the SeaQuench Ale. The product is a 4.9% ABV, and is sour brewed with lime juice, lime peel, black limes and sea salt. Each 12-oz., serving contains only 140 calories and 9 carbohydrates, the company said.

  • Yoplait partners with Girl Scouts of the USA on new yogurt flavors

    Yoplait is teaming up with the Girl Scouts of the USA to bring flavors of their infamous cookies to a whole new range of consumers. The General Mills-owned company is launching three new yogurts that draw inspiration from the organization’s famous cookies.

    The new flavors — Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Thin Mints; Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Peanut Butter Chocolate; and Yoplait Original Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut will be available at retailers nationwide beginning in December. They also are new permanent, year-round additions to the company’s portfolio.

    Sephora has seen some significant gains within the past year, and according to YouGov BrandIndex it may all be due to the launch of Rihanna and her Fenty Beauty line.

  • Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey partners with Kellogg’s on limited-edition cereal

    Nintendo is entering the world of breakfast with the help of Kellogg’s. Together, the companies will be launching collectible Super Mario Odyssey box art and cereal. The limited-edition cereal will be of a mixed berry flavor and contain colorful power-up marshmallows. If that weren’t enough, each of the boxes also will function as an accessory to the amiibo – a wireless communications and storage device used with compatible figurines.
