When it comes to self-gifting, men are most likely to hide their gift (43% more likely than women), claim it’s from someone else (150% more likely) or even create an imaginary friend (118% more likely) rather than own up to the purchase, according to the survey conducted by Omnipulse on behalf of Roku.

    CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble brand Charmin on Wednesday announced improvements to its toilet paper. The retooled Charmin is now more flushable and is designed to help alleviate the strain on home plumbing systems, the company said.

  • Coca-Cola hosts ceremony to honor veterans, U.S. military members

    ATLANTA — As part of a week-long observance of Veteran's Day, Coca-Cola will host a ceremony to honor the men and women who have served the country, which includes more than 3,000 veterans employed by the company.

    On Thursday, Retired First Class Sergeant Michael Schiltz will provide a keynote address where he will share his story of courage in the aftermath of an accident during a military campagin in Iraq. The 82nd Airborne Division "All-American" Chorus also will be on hand to pay tribute.

    CINCINNATI — During the past five football seasons, Head & Shoulders, the official shampoo of the National Football League, has gone to great lengths to celebrate "Mane Man" Troy Polamalu's legendary locks, from insuring his hair for $1 million to immortalizing it in wax. After growing his infamous mane for more than 11 years and using Head & Shoulders along the way, Polamalu participated in a ceremonial haircut Tuesday during The “VFW Mane Event” at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
