  • Advil Relief in Action to support both Habitat for Humanity and Wounded Warrior Project

    MADISON, N.J. — Pfizer Consumer Healthcare on Thursday launched its Advil Relief in Action campaign in support of both Habitat for Humanity and Wounded Warrior Project.

    Beginning May 1, a portion of the price of participating Advil bottles will go to Habitat for Humanity International and Wounded Warrior Project. The Advil Relief in Action program will also be on-site at Habitat for Humanity builds and in conjunction with Wounded Warrior Project at Tough Mudder events.

  • Novo Nordisk launches Race with Insulin contest with Charlie Kimball as spokesman

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Novo Nordisk has launched a diabetes awareness sweepstakes in which the winners get a free trip to the 2013 IndyCar finale, the Danish drug maker said Friday.

    The company announced that it had hired IZOD IndyCar Series Charlie Kimball as spokesman for its Race with Insulin contest. Kimball, the first licensed driver with diabetes to race at the highest level of the series, was diagnosed with the disease during a routine doctor visit in 2007 while racing in Europe and is a user of Novo Nordisk's NovoLog (insulin aspart [rDNA origin]).

    EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Skin care brand Murad has announced that for the second consecutive year it has been named an Official Skincare Partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2013 regular season.

    Murad will provide sun protection advice, as well as skin care products for the players and fans with special giveaways and promotions slated throughout the season.
