    BETHESDA, Md. — Honest Tea, maker of organic bottled tea, is rolling out Unsweet Lemon Tea nationwide, the company announced. The zero-calorie beverage is brewed with organic, Fair Trade-certified tea leaves and flavored with organic lemon extract.  

  • Vireo Systems launches NSAID alternative for dogs

    MADISON, Tenn. — Vireo Systems on Thursday launched CanineActiv, a pain reliever for dogs that will serve as an alternative to NSAIDs.   • Skeeter Snacks to launch in New England Walgreens

    WESTPORT, Conn. — Skeeter Snacks, an allergy-friendly food, will launch its product in 212 Walgreens locations in the New England area.

    Skeeter Snacks provides a variety of snack options for children and adults with tree nut and peanut allergies, and are available in six different cookie options: Chocolate Chunk, Chocolate Cubed, Golden Oatmeal, Skeeter Doodle, Chocolate Chip Minis and Cinnamon Graham Minis.

  • Perrigo seeks approval for generic version of Acanya

    ALLEGAN, Mich. — Drug maker Perrigo has filed with the Food and Drug Administration for approval of a generic topical ointment for treating acne in adolescents and adults, the company said Wednesday.

    Perrigo said it filed for approval of clindamycin phosphate and benzoyl peroxide gel in the 1.2%/2.5% strengths. The drug is used to treat acne in patients 12 years and older.

  • Grumpy Cat-themed odor-elimination solution introduced

    LOS ANGELES — Feline Internet celebrity Grumpy Cat is the mascot for a new pet odor-eliminating product from Accuy Natural Solutions, the company said.

    Grumpty Cat's Odor Eliminator uses a liquid extract from the Yucca schidigera plant to remove odors, binding to any form of ammonia-based odors, particularly cat urine, and converting ammonia to ammonium, a non-toxic form of ammonia that lacks its odor.

  • Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Bai Brands expand partnership

    HAMILTON, N.J. — Dr Pepper Snapple Group will distribute a growing line of all-natural, antioxidant-infused beverages, the maker of the beverages said Tuesday.

    Bai Brands, which makes the Bai 5 line, said the two companies had been working together for the last two years in select markets around the country and will now expand their partnership in most major markets.
