  • VoicePort partners with iMedicare

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. — VoicePort’s CLARO adherence platform will soon offer its pharmacy partners patient-specific Medicare plan analysis from iMedicare with a new partnership the companies announced Monday. With the partnership, VoicePort customers can access iMedicare’s analyses to help patients make the best decisions when choosing a Medicare Advantage or prescription drug plan. 
     
  • McKesson showcases new central fill solution at ASHP Mid-Year Clinical Meeting

    LAS VEGAS – McKesson's High Volume Solutions group on Friday announced the  launch of Central Fill as a Service (CFaaS), a McKesson-operated, centralized solution that allows pharmacies to use central fill without the investment in equipment, inventory or staffing (other than a pharmacist). Instead of the traditional central fill model that requires significant upfront investment, CFaaS is available to customers through a per-prescription fee that can dramatically reduce the pharmacy’s per-prescription cost to dispense.

  • Omnicell to acquire Ateb

    MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — In a move that will bring together two companies focused on medication adherence solutions, Omnicell announced Tuesday that it would be acquiring Ateb and its Canadian affiliate Ateb Canada. 
     
  • Ateb, IPO partner to bring pharmacies health management solutions

    RALEIGH, N.C. — Ateb and patient engagement and medication adherence solution company Improved Patient Outcomes on Monday announced a partnership that will work to improve medication adherence by offering patient health management solutions. The partnership brings together IPO’s Duke University evidence-based health management solutions with Ateb’s appointment-based model around which its Time My Meds medication synchronization solution is built. 
     
  • iMedicare, PioneerRx expand partnership

    NEW YORK and SHREVEPORT, La. — Community pharmacy Medicare platform iMedicare and pharmacy management software company PioneerRx announced Friday that they would be expanding their partnership. The expansion will bring pharmacies a notification system that identifies actionable Medicare patients within PioneerRx’s pharmacy management system.
