  • Camp Cardinal Health to tour Chicago’s favorite destinations

    The countdown is on.

    With a little more than two months to go before a crowd of more than 8,000 independent pharmacists and their families converge on the Windy City for RBC 2016 in Chicago, Cardinal Health has assembled a special program for the kids, with four full days of activity planned for children ages 3 to 17 years old.

    With some 10,000 people becoming eligible for Medicare every day and estimates of the cost of medication nonadherence reaching as high as $300 billion, managing an influx of patients and their prescriptions while working to control costs and deliver improved outcomes are among the biggest challenges facing community pharmacy today.

    ARLINGTON, Va. -- The National Association of Chain Drug Stores Total Store Expo has announced participants of its Vision 2027 attraction at the 2016 TSE, which will be held Aug. 6-9 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

  • NACDS Annual 2016 Nightlife — Closing Ceremony

    WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. — Bayer’s Timothy Hayes was awarded one of NACDS’ highest honors during the closing ceremony of this year’s NACDS Annual meeting in West Palm Beach. The Robert B. Begley Award — established in 1980 — is named in memory of former NACDS Chairman of the Board Robert B. Begley.  It honors an individual who possess qualities of great personal warmth, generous spirit and long-time service to the industry.
