  • MinuteClinic opens new clinics in Md. Target stores

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. -- MinuteClinic has opened eight new locations inside Target stores in Maryland, including six in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

    The clinics – located in stores in Annapolis, Baltimore (Canton), Bel Air, Cockeysville, Ellicott City, Nottingham, Silver Spring and Towson – have been rebranded and converted to MinuteClinic. There are now 43 MinuteClinic locations in Maryland, including clinics in select CVS Pharmacy stores.

    CAMP HILL, Pa. – Incorporating learnings from recent consumer research, Rite Aid on Sunday gave its circular a makeover – making the circular easier to navigate and more digital friendly. “We’re really excited about this,” John Learish, SVP marketing, Rite Aid, told Drug Store News. “It’s going to be a very noticeable change and hopefully well received.”

  • CVS Health makes MMR vaccine available across 2 Arizona counties

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - As Arizona public health officials work to stop the spread of a measles outbreak, CVS Health is offering measles-mumps-rubella vaccine at more than 140 locations to people living in Maricopa and Pinal Counties, the areas exposed to confirmed cases of the illness, the company announced Friday. 
     
  • Target emphasizes mobile experience with updated Target.com platform

    MINNEAPOLIS - Mobile is becoming the device of choice for today’s shoppers, Target noted in a release Thursday, and Target guests over-index for mobile usage. In addition, mobile traffic and sales have been key to driving Target’s digital growth, the retailer stated. 
     
    Beginning June 2, no matter the screen size or device — mobile, tablet or desktop — visitors to Target.com will have a more consistent and unified experience, the company announced. 
     
  • Walmart pilots same-day delivery through Uber, Lyft and Deliv

    BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Walmart is piloting delivery through Uber, Lyft and Deliv, Michael  Bender, EVP and COO, Walmart Global eCommerce, shared on Friday morning. "At our annual Shareholders Meeting, our CEO Doug McMillon will announce our newest pilot - a last-mile delivery test through services like Uber, Lyft and Deliv," he noted. "Walmart will start with tests of grocery delivery through Uber and Lyft, which we expect to start within the next two weeks in Denver and one other market."
