  • Campbell's Soup comes to Keurig Brewers through partnership with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters

    CAMDEN, N.J. and WATERBURY, Vt. — Campbell Soup Co. and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. today announced an agreement to launch Campbell’s Fresh-Brewed Soup K-Cup packs, which will offer consumers the taste and experience of Campbell’s soups in a convenient snack that can be prepared at the touch of a button in Keurig brewers, the company stated.

  • Walgreens donates $3.5 million to Vitamin Angels

    DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens on Tuesday announced a $3.5 million donation to Vitamin Angels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at-risk populations in need gain access to supplemental nutrition. 

    Customers also can make a difference and reach a child at risk by purchasing select health and wellness supplements at Walgreens. In addition to the $3.5 million, Walgreens will donate a portion, 25 cents, of each select purchase to Vitamin Angels, which will provide one child with a year’s supply of vitamin A.

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Procter & Gamble’s Pantene hair care brand has teamed up with Walmart and Seventeen magazine for the second annual National Donate Your Hair Day on Sept. 7.

    The day of giving encourages people to cut and donate their healthy hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program to make real-hair wigs available at no cost to women who have lost their hair because of cancer treatments.

  • Harris Teeter donates more than 57,000 lbs. of fresh peaches to local food bank

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Harris Teeter and its vendor Titan Farms on Friday donated approximately 28,725 lbs. of peaches to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina to help feed the hungry in the local community. The donation is part of the retailer’s participation in the “Peaches with A Purpose” program sponsored by peach grower Titan Farms.
